He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clemmie Yon and Gladys Epperly Yon; his wife Ellen Rose; his children, David P. Yon (Sandra Vaucher) of Ft. Lauderdale and Theresa Yon (Glenn Romano) of Greensboro; his stepdaughter Jessica Libecap (Justin); his grandchildren, Rylan and Zachary Libecap of Raleigh; and his aunt Lita Eskew of Fayetteville.
