He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon. He is survived by: his children, Karen Elaine Bennett (Mikell), Donald, Don, Lee Hand, Jr. (Bette-Jean), Jenny Lynn Hand (Humberto), Robert, Rob and Edward Hand (Joan); his grandchildren, Kevin Mikell Bennett, Kimberly MIchelle Frost (Richard) and Jenna Elaine Hand (Zac); and his great grandchildren, Manasseh, Manny Isaiah Bennett, Penelope Elaine, Penny Lane and Avett Bennett Frost. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
