Elizabeth Wright Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2021, at the age of 98, Elizabeth Wright of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Cathey, Sr. and Georgia Wright Cathey; her husband Paul Wright; and her siblings, W. B. "Bill" Cathey, Jr. and Velva LaRue Cathey.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Summey (Sam) of Flat Rock, NC, Kathryn W. Martin of Winston-Salem, NC, Beth "Elizabeth" Parham (Eugene) of Hickory, NC and Jim Wright (Charlene) of Hendersonville, NC; and her brother Gordon Cathey of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family respectfully asks that anyone attending the services wear a mask or face covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Four Seasons Foundation, 211 N. Main Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792 or to the charity of your choice.
