He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry P. Ward Sr. and Florence May Ward (Baldwin). He is survived by: his son Thomas P. Ward of Hendersonville, NC; his grandchildren, Arthur Ward, Tina Ward and Thomas Ward Jr.; his great grandchild Marissa; his great great grandchildren, Paisley and Ella Marie; and his sister Marjorie Tilley.
