He is survived by: his mother Rosalba Guevara Cortez; his children, Kevin Hernandez of Hendersonville, NC, Maritza Morales Hernandez of Hendersonville, NC and Lizz Morales Hernandez of Hendersonville, NC; his siblings, Victor Morales of Hendersonville, NC and Lucero Morales of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Eva Ontiveros Gomez and Julian Isaias Gomez Hernandez.
