We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mabel Blackwell Hix of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Decatur, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Stephen; and her grandson Ryan. She is survived by: her husband Glenn; her sons, Daniel (Pamela) of Maryville, Mark (Mary) of Lewisville and Phillip (Monica) of Greensboro; her daughter-in-law Debra Hix Christensen of Huntersville; and her sisters, Sylvia and Glenn of Decatur, Alabama.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Employee Appreciation Fund at Carolina Village, 600 Carolina Village Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
