Brain of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Darien, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 91, on July 1, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Mead and Emma Miller Danard; and her husband LeRoy McCreary Brain. She is survived by : her children, Linda B. Hirst (Brad) of Kittery Point, ME and Kenneth J. Brain (Renee) of Hendersonville; and her grandchildren, William Nathan Hirst of Kittery Point, Andrew Hirst (Camille) of Wilmington, NC and Hannah Marjean Brennan (Patrick) of Hendersonville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
