We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2026, at the age of 92, Millicent King of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Edwin and Erma Josephine Fischer; and her siblings, Ray Fischer (Lucille), Margaret McDaniel (Mac), Asa Fischer (Pat), Helen Watts (JB), Myrtice Watts (Billy) and Herbert Fisher (Janis).
She is survived by: her husband Garland; her sister Diane Sommers (Wally); her children, Deborah Campbell (Ronnie), Scot King (Marsha), Roger King and Sara Bergen (Bob); her grandchildren, Ryan Hodges (Connie), Brittany King (Laurent), Gregory Hodges, Lindsay Wilkie (Abel) and Landon Wilkie (Sydney); and her great grandchildren, Edward, James Hodges, Theo Van Hassel, Ledger Melgar and Ellerie Wilkie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
