She was predeceased by: her spouse Chris Godwin; her son Christopher Godwin; her parents, Pinkney Valentine and Ethel Leverette Corn; and her siblings, Christine McCrary, Lola Love, Wayne and Lonnie Corn.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Godwin Sanders (Richard), Sherry Williams and Jody Godwin (Beth); her grandchildren, Courtney, Colby, Jessica, Blane, Josh, Kayla, Alexis, Lauren and Leah; and her brother Ray Corn. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
