She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stein and Zilla Stein; her husband William "Bill" W. Dewey, Jr.; and her great grandchild Bennett Futrell. She is survived by: her children, Amy D. Dawes (Mitch) of Spartanburg and William "Will" W. Dewey III of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Will Dawes (Hannah), Ally Futrell (Jake), Claire Dewey and Liam Dewey; her sister Melinda Morton; her pet Buddy; Gloria Collins, Lisa and Aaron Cook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
