She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Ray and Laura Jane Yount Britton; her former life partner Curtis Meads; and her brother Percy Britton. She is survived by : her fiancé Hugh "J. R." Brick of Hertford; her siblings, Vicki Lassiter (Charlie "J. R.") of Corapeake, Denice Bradshaw of Suffolk, VA and Dane Britton of Eure; and her half-siblings, Tina Hicks (Bill), Mary Jefferson, Mindy Woods, Lynn Anderson, Kellie Britton and Harold Britton.
