It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Darrel Glans of Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Glans and Mildred Gunn Glans; his wife Margaret Elizabeth Young Glans; and his siblings, Marlene Prudeck, Naomi Robinson and Glenn Larson.

He is survived by: his son Darrel Glans (Kim) of Hertford; his brother Jaimie Glans of Grants Pass, OR; his grandchildren, Kristin, Collin and Candi; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Jack, Charlie, Kate and Khloe.
