She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Maxine Poston and Lubert Turner. She is survived by: her husband William Robert "Robbie" Hassell; her daughters, Amy Powers, Sandy Tipton and Teresa Reed (Kevin); her grandchildren, Christopher Saunders (Kelsey), Heather Cartwright (Jared), Cody Sears, Kayre Meher (Marc) and Candace White; and her great grandchildren, Whit, Easton, Skyla Meher and Jaxon Saunders.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Life Church (1107 Hwy 17, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A reception will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
