It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Riddick of Hertford, North Carolina, born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Alfred "Jack" Riddick and Desma Mae Hendrix Riddick; and his brother Donald Riddick. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Morgan Riddick; his daughters, Patti White (Stan) of Hertford and Kimberly Liverman (Doug) of Hertford; his brother J. J. Riddick (Shirley) of Suffolk, VA; his sister-in-law Mary Alice Riddick of Edenton; his grandchildren, Ashley Riddick (Brian), Towe White, Sumner Ambrose (Zack), Riley Cox and Haden Cox; and his great grandchildren, Logan Basnight, Brandon, Ashley, Bristyl Riddick, Adalynn Ambrose, Anaya Herlihy, Brock, Caryss and Aiden White.
