He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Murray (Mary Mariani) and Jeanne Murray. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Mariani; his children, Richard Mariani (Tamara) and Jennifer Whitman (Doug); his grandchildren, Jake Whitman, Ryan Mariani, Maxwell Whitman, Joshua Mariani, Kaitlin Mariani and Luke Whitman; and his sisters, MaryEllen Hughes (Kevin Hughes) and Debra Mariani-Weissenborn (Harald Weissenborn). He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Albemarle Plantation (371 Albemarle Blvd, Hertford, NC 27944).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity that was important to Jeff.
