She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Linwood and Nellie Mae Lane Proctor; her husband Clyde Lee Lane; her son-in-law J. E. Matthews; and her siblings, L. C. Proctor and Norma Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Karole Matthews and Duncan Lane of Hertford; her brother Thomas "Pete" Proctor of Virginia; and her grandson Edward Lee "Eddie" Matthews (Colleen Turner).
