In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Phillips and Elaine Holleman Phillips; his son Randy Phillips; and his sister Patricia Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Ivy Russell Phillips; his children, Jennifer Phillips of Hertford, NC and John Phillips (Anita) of Houston, TX; and his brother Phillip Phillips (Linda) of Kalama, WA.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; forty-plus great grandchildren.
