He was predeceased by: his parents, Melachi Walker and Virgie Walker; his wife Delia Walker; his siblings, Milton, Charles Joseph, James, Williams Walker (Billy) and Betty Walker; his son John Russell Walker; his grandson Khaawar Faheem Walker; and his great grandchild Quantae Shanè Lindsey.
He is survived by: his daughter Junell; his son-in-law Lance Smith; and his caregiver Tuwanda O'Neal.
