He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Gregory and Nettie Whitehurst Gregory of Woodville; his brother Wilton Gregory (Alice); and his wife Ann McDonald Gregory. He is survived by: his sons, Danny W. Gregory (Rhonda) of Hertford, Tim A. Gregory (Beverly) of Hertford, Johnnie "Jay" M. Gregory (Donna) of Hertford and Jim Gregory (Stephanie) of Hertford; his grandchildren, Ashley Gregory (Markie), Erica Meads (Jason), Alexa Jaye Dusenbury (Luke), Matthew Gregory, Landon Gregory and Elizabeth Ann Gregory; his great grandchildren, Tyler Gregory, Blaire Ryan Gregory, Emma Gregory, Ava Meads and Maggie Meads; and his close friend Marguerite Cartwright.
