It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnna Morse Lewis of Hertford, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, Maine, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roland Morse Jr. and Wilma Hartwell Morse. She is survived by : her husband David Lewis; her stepmother Lauraine Bernier; and her siblings, Deb Bernier (Fred), Arthur Morse (Kim) and Susan Rutledge. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
Donations in her honor may be made either to the Cancer Fighters Group at the City of Hope Atlanta, Georgia; or to Caring Bridge, the platform that allowed Johnna to blog about her cancer journey; or, lastly, to the Recycled Reader, accredited to Hertford Grammar School.
