She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Cecil Elliott, Sr. and Marie White Elliott; and her siblings, Donald Elliott, Randy Elliott, Ronnie Elliott, Oliver C. Elliott, Jr., Peggy Hamby and Marie Tillet.
She is survived by: her husband Perley Spafford (Jack); her children, Elizabeth Bateman (Ricky) and David Spafford (Mayra); her grandchildren, Jill Parrish Coker (Shawn), Megan, Daniel and Amanda Spafford; her great grandchildren, Breyden, Bayla, Brewstyn and Bevany Coker; and her siblings, Louise Copley, Katherine Lane, Ruth White, Carolyn White, Beverly Forbes, Sandra Amidon, Bobby Elliott and Robert Elliott (Annie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Chapel (1125 Harvey Point Rd, Hertford, NC 27944).
