She was predeceased by: her son Damien Bowe (Tiffany); her parent Kenyatta Bowe; her daughter Corrine Parker McMurrin Stokley; and her siblings, Corrine Parker McMurrin Stokley, Cleston Edward McMurrin (Tuck), James Noah McMurrin (Delphine) and Miles McMurrin.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Turner; her daughter Crystal Bowe of Elizabeth City, NC; her grandchildren, Leah Collins (TyQuan) and Christopher McMurrin; her great grandchild Elias Dance; and her siblings, Margaret Henderson, Helen McMurrin, Catherine Brown, Willie L. McMurrin (Mamie), Matthew "Len" McMurrin, Johnny Earl McMurrin Sr. (Faye), Lee Otis McMurrin, Kenneth Wayne McMurrin Sr. and Perry L. McMurrin Sr..
