She is survived by: her sibling Johnnie M. Hollowell of Hertford, N. C.; her son Wade Stokes (Theresa) of Caldwell; her grandson Steven Wade Stokes (Vanessa) of Wayne; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Stokes, Mckayla Stokes and Mia Stokes; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Hollowell of Hertford, N. C. and Henry Hurdle of Hertford, N. C..
Viewing was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eveninglight Church of God in Christ (505 NC-305, Windsor, NC 27983).
