She was predeceased by : her parents, Ulric Calvin and Pearl Jordan Matthews Caddy; her spouse Whit Cartwright; her sisters, Wilma Ann Dail (Lloyd) and S. Louvinia Narron (Leslie); her son-in-law Charles J. Janak; and her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Rue, Lizzie Lee Boyce, Leroy and Tom Cartwright.

She is survived by : her daughter Annette Janak of Stone Ridge, VA; her grandchildren, Christopher C. Janak (Melody) of Austin and Amber E. Zaharchuk (Dave) of Burlington, Connecticut; and her great grandchildren, Austin C. and Charlotte E. Janak.
