He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Terry and Terry Lantz of Aulander; and his grandchild Ashley Jones. He is survived by: his girlfriend Dorothy Owens; his children, Mike Terry of Moyock, Steve Terry of Bailey and Sharon Sargent (Bill) of Poquoson, VA; his sister Deloris Rowe (Francis) of Elizabeth City; his former wife Diane "Deedee" Mathison; his grandchildren, Chris Terry (Becki), Kayla Modlin, Mark Terry and Zach Sargent; his nephews, Johnnie Rowe and Alex Rowe; and his niece Paula Warlick. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
