She was predeceased by: her parents, Dutchie Spear and Evelyn Clifton Spear; her son Ryan Harrell; and her brother-in-law Larry Harrell. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Blackford (Derek) of Elizabeth City, NC and Jami Sawyer (Jerrid) of Edenton, NC; her siblings, Rebecca Jarman (Johnny) of Hertford, NC, Aundra Harrell of Edenton, NC, Tanya Spear of Hertford, NC, Jackie Spear (Arlene) of Hertford, NC and Dutchie Spear, Jr. (Crystal) of Hertford, NC; and her grandchildren, Dakota, Brianna, Andrew, Miranda, Adalynn, Aeilah and Khloee.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Berea Church of Christ (1664 New Hope Rd, Hertford, NC 27944).
