She was predeceased by: her parents, Dempsey Joseph "D. J." and Mildred Webb "Monk" White; and her brothers, Guy Thomas "Big Tom" White and Carson Lee "Kit" White. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Ward (Jeffrey) and Jodie Cosner; her grandchildren, Lewis Bradford Taylor III, Abigail Davenport and Dustin Davenport; and her great grandchildren, Lewis "Bug" Taylor IV, Lina Taylor, Landon Taylor, Athena White, Kairi-Lee Gibbs and Matthew Thigpen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Church, 2098 New Hope Road, Hertford, NC 27944.
