He was predeceased by: his father Billy Ray Hunt; and his siblings, Lawrence Ray Hunt and Patricia Anne Hunt. He is survived by: his children, Julia Renae Seagle of Conover, Samantha Lynn Rector (Jason) of Connelly Springs and James Allan Hunt (Kimberly) of Morganton; and his sibling's children, Timothy Hunt (Ginger), Stephen Hunt (Catherine) and Elisabeth Adamson (Nathan). He is also survived by six granddaughters, and four great granddaughters.
