Andrew Curtis James Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Curtis James of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Elizabeth Cook and Vance Turner James, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl R. James; his children, Joshua Levi James (April) of Valdese, NC, Abbie James Slate of Charleston, SC, Maggie James (Rachael) of Banner Elk, NC and Jessica Gulledge (Bishop) of Matawan, NJ; his brother Vance James Jr. (Daisy) of Hickory, NC; and his grandchildren, Elias Smith, Aidan Sanderson and Charlotte Sanderson. He is also survived by six grand dogs.
