Annie Berry Barlow Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Berry Barlow of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Berry and Wallace Berry; her husband John C. Barlow, Sr.; and her siblings, Joel Berry, Dewey Berry and Jenny Lee Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, John Barlow, Jr. (Kathy) and Susan Wilson (Johnny); her siblings, Arcola Robinson and Ruth Bumgarner; her grandchildren, Kelle Huffman (Jon), Jason Barlow (Kelly), Mark Wilson (Beth) and Aaron Wilson; her great grandchildren, Jared Huffman (Julie), Caleb Huffman (Courtney), Jaracah Teague, Zane Wilson, Karly Barlow, Taryn Wilson, Jadin Kelley (Brailye) and Grace Sexton (Cameron); and her great great grandchildren, Boone, Ella-James Huffman, Everleigh, Brixton Kelley and Rowan Sexton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3060 US-70, Hickory, NC 28602). A reception was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Annie's Residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Annie's honor may be made to Amorem Hospice in Burke County. Keep Annie's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
