She is survived by: her children, Kim Long (Wayne) of Hickory, Kelly Killian (Marty) of Hickory, Robby Patton (Marla) of Conover and Jason Patton (Lisa) of Valdese; her stepsons, John Bowman (Cathy) of Hickory, Jeffrey Bowman (Sandra) of Raleigh and Joe Bowman (Jackie) of Hickory; Shea Pennington. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hickory Funeral Home Chapel (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (3120 Falling Creek Rd, Hickory, NC 28602).
