We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2024, at the age of 78, Annie Faye Whitmire of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Lee Danner and Colleen Key Danner; her husband James Mack Reese; her sister Patricia Danner Sprouse; and her siblings-in-law, Onald Loy Sprouse, Gerald Reese, Howard Reese, Jane Reese, Ella Mae Reese, Joyce Reese, Linda R. Payne and June Whitmire.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Reese Yarborough (Terry) of Hendersonville, NC, Kristi Reese Williams (Donnie) of Greer, SC and David M Reese of Scotsdale, AZ; her grandchildren, C. Ryan Womack, Matthew T. Womack (Lindsey), Alex G. Yarborough (Paige), Amy G Yarborough, Haleigh A. Gallimore and Zachary J. Reese; her great grandchild Noah Whitmire Womack; her siblings-in-law, Marshall Whitmire, Butch Reese (Norma), Avery Reese (Kay), Tom Reese (Debbie), Dana Payne, Maxine Starner (Mark) and Susie Reese; and her close friends, Dot Case, Norma Bridges, Betty Landreth and Patsy Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
