He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonidas Armando Lagunas and Beatriz Quevedo Lagunas; and his siblings, German Lagunas, Beatriz (ChiChi) and Teresa.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lagunas; his children, Susana Parker (Sam) and Daniel Lagunas; and his stepsons, Mark Powell and Chris Powell. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Methodist Church (410 1st Ave N, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Methodist Church of Conover, NC, and or Carolina Caring Hospice in Armando's name.
