He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Arthur, Ellin Lawson, Sol and Sharon Ribbler; and his mother Roberta Susan Ribbler Lawson.
He is survived by: his nieces, Kendall and Keleigh; his nephew Brandon; his father Arthur Lawson of Florida; his son Jamison Allen Lawson; his aunt Claire; and his sister-in-law Alice.
Memorials may be made to Doxie by Proxy Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 9671, Greensboro, NC 27429-9671 in honor of his beloved Maggie and Scooby, or to St. Stephens High School, 3205 State Rd 1633, Hickory, NC 28601 (memo Cross Country/Track and Field) where Arthur graduated from, class of 1992.
