She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cletus Canipe and Zula Mae Mull Canipe; her siblings, Mildred Whitner, Inez Reed and Charles Warren Canipe; her husband George Clifford McRee; her son Norris Gerald McRee; her grandson Kevin McRee (Lacy); and her sons, Emory LeBlanc and Simon LeBlanc of Hickory, NC..
She is survived by: her son Timothy McRee of Canton, NC; her grandchild Erin McRee (Derek Marx) of Weaverville, NC.; her great grandchild Daniel McRee (David Weaver) of Wallowa; and her children, Laurie Carter (Lonnie N. Carter) of Georgetown, Emily Harrison (Harrison), Sarah Schumann, Jacob Carter and Mark McRee. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
