With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Blondine Doble of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Pat Wiggins; her husband Howard R. Doble Jr.; and her son Howard R. Doble III. She is survived by: her children, Michael Doble (Darlene) of Banner Elk, Colleen Comer (Bob) of Conover and Patty Johnson (Darrell) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Jennifer Doble, Katie Doble, Jordan Bost (Nathan), Jay Johnson (Bridget), Mark Comer (Carter), Michael Comer (Sarah), Carrigan Pennypacker (Eric) and Madison Doble; and her great grandchildren, Drew Settlemyre of Ryan Settlemyre, J. R, Theo Bost and Cayce Pennypacker.
