She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Woody and Lillie E. Woody; her husband Donald C. McDaniel; her siblings, Ward Woody, J. C. Woody, Gem Woody, Van Woody, Ivan Woody, Jewel Thomas, Annie Underwood and Madge Keaton; her daughter Michelle Darlene McDaniel; her grandchildren, Lori McDaniel and Bryson McDaniel; and her great grandchildren, Payton and Kolby Burgess.

She is survived by: her children, Tony McDaniel (Karen), Bryan McDaniel (Vilma), Marty McDaniel (Martha) and Melissa Marshall (Chris); and her grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Joseph, Sarah, Justin, Casey, Michael, Matthew, Christy, Patti, Amanda, Andrew and Amy. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
