She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Yelton and Eve McKinney Yelton; her siblings, J. B. McKinney, Ed McKinney, Clay McKinney, Jack Yelton, Opal McKinney and Winnie Bridge; and her sister-in-law Madaleigh McKinney.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Bryson Yelton; her sons, Robert Ralph Yelton (Donna) of Hickory and Tim Lee Yelton (Debbie) of Taylorsville; her sisters-in-law, Betty McKinney of Bakersville, Sharon McKinney of Taylorsville and Carylon Yelton of Conover; her grandchildren, Dustin Yelton, Cody Yelton and Dillion Yelton; and her great grandchildren, Haven Yelton, Dawson Yelton and Adaleigh Yelton.
