She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Jack Thompson Sr. and Blanche Littlejohn Thompson; her daughter Barbara Jean Thompson; and her brother Benjamin Jack Thompson Jr.. She is survived by: her fiancé Charles Hall; her children, Anna Lisa Martin (Larry) of Hickory, Sammy Ussery of Hickory and Sherry McBryde (Michael) of Hickory; and her siblings, Terry Thompson (Sue) of Statesville, Blanche Thompson of Lincolnton and Annette Nichols (Reginald) of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
