It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Patterson of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Teddy Patterson and Evelyn Dorothy Fisher; his brothers, Bill Patterson, Coy Lamar Scott and Weems Patterson; and his father-in-law Wilbert Clay Townsend.

He is survived by: his wife Stacie Patterson; his sons, Barry Christopher Patterson (Misty) and Marc Quinn Patterson; his grandchildren, Christopher Jacob Patterson, Clay Tyler Patterson, Cooper Jack Patterson, Tate Ethan Patterson and Laney Rose Patterson; his mother-in-law Emma Lea Townsend; his brothers-in-law, Davey John Townsend and Dusty Townsend (Barbra); and his sibling's children, Nathan, Kodie and Clay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patterson family at Jenkins Funeral Home at 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658.
