She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymer Samuel Yount and Helen Juanita Yount; and her husband Lawrence Elmore of God's Kingdom. She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Larkin (Jamie) of Conover, Rebecca Hunsucker (Kyle) of Conover and Robin Welch (Andrew) of Newton; her grandchildren, Dustin Yelton, Jamie Larkin Jr. (Chelsea), Dillion Yelton (Aspen Brown) and Sydnee Welch (Zachary Wooten); her great grandchildren, Haven Yelton, Kenzleigh Larkin, Dawson Yelton and Kaelynn Larkin; and her sisters, Ruby Hyatt, Linda Buchanan and Martha Rowe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Salvation Army Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church of Hickory. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (800 17th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
