We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2023, at the age of 90, Betty Jo Scott Williams of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Scott and Zelda Munday Scott; her former husband James R. Eckard; her husband Robert F. Williams; her daughter Kathy Howard; and her brother Jimmy Scott (Joyce Scott).
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Drum (Roger) of Claremont; her siblings, J. D. Scott (Charlene) of Newton and Shirley Moore (Jimmy) of Taylorsville; her stepsons, Charles Williams (Linda) of Newton, Steve Williams (Debbie) of Augusta, GA and David Williams of Newton; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Corn (Justin), Jonathan Drum (Carolyn), Tracie Morse, Tanya Lafone and James Howard (Angela). She is also survived by great-great granddaughter, and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
