She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Simpson and Lucy Lee Simpson; her husband Joe Bandy Caldwell; and her siblings, Blanche Austin, Helen Leonard, Virgina Crowe, Maude Hefner, Murial Simpson, Hal and Archie Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Bandy Caldwell, Jr. (Sherry) of Nashville, TN, Kimberly C. Deitz (Greg) of Hickory, Mandy Lail (Kevin) of Hickory and Lisa Caldwell of Hickory; her grandchildren, Summer Webb, Brittany Hall (Robert), Dillon Deitz (Kaitlen), Cori Sherer (Luke), Carly Jo Powers (Alex), Paxton Peterson Sydnie Lail (Luke) and Allie Lail; and her great grandchildren, Adley Flowers, Blakely Gray Peterson, Riley Hall, Greyson Hall, Scout Sherer and Josie Sherer.
