Betty Lou Price Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Price of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Douglas Price and Florence Lorraine Payne Price; her siblings, Dorothy Lee Stanley (Earl) and James Douglas Price, Jr. (Maude Louise Price); her nephew Douglas Stanley; and her stepgrandson Christoher Burton.

She is survived by: her niece Terry Taylor; her great-nephew Kevin James Taylor; her stepdaughters, Yvonne Burton (Carl), Kathleen R. Gonzales (Dennis) and Dee R. Dickson (Eldon); her stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Gonzales, Cherie Singer (Sean), Carol McVean, Nate, Bryce Smith, Carolyn Huff, Bill, Brenda Schreiber and Tom Sobanski; and her caregiver Krista Hunt McCorkel. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
