It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mays of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Grant and Elois Bowman; her husband Rhondle H. Mays; her sons, Gene Mays, Michael Mays and Mark Mays; her brothers, Rev. Bill Bowman and Mel Bowman; her grandson Corey Mays; and her great grandchild Rhonnie Mays.

She is survived by: her children, Miki Mays of Hickory, Luann Neal of Wingate and Richard Mays of Hickory. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren.
