She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lee and Ada Price Burris; her husband JD Hefner; and her grandson Eric Jackson. She is survived by: her sisters, Sondra Willets (Jim), Theresa Bumgarner (Tinker) and Patricia McClellan; her sister-in-law Denise Coulter (Rodney); her sons, David Hefner (Pat), Terry Hefner (Natalie) and Ray Barger (Deb); her grandchildren, Wendy Dellinger (Joe), Julie Jackson, Caitlin Davis (Trevor) and Gage Hefner; and her great grandchildren, Samuel, Juniper, Magnolia, Taylor, Heather, Meagan, Tyler, Austin and Annie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in BonJou's name.
