He is survived by: his mother Cheryl Killian Brittain; his wife Michelle Cregger Nix; his children, Devin Eugene Nix and Sarah Elizabeth Nix; his stepfather Roger Dale Brittain; his half-sister Renee Griffin (Bill) of Gastonia, NC; his stepbrother John Brittain (Brittney) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandmother Martha Killian of Hickory; his aunt Robin Killian of Hickory; his parents-in-law, Pat and Jody Cregger of Marion, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Nikki Martin (A. J.) of Rural Retreat, VA and Duane Cregger-Solomon (Brent) of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
