He is survived by: his parents, Robert Prather and Michele Lin Prather; his siblings, Nathan Prather, Keykly Prather, Gracelyn Prather and Chloe Prather; his cousins, Jonathan Young, Kaymon Young and Adam Hales; and his aunts and uncles, Sheri Young, John Young (Karen), Lynn and Glenn Flowers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Catawba County Guardian Ad-Litem, 1097 S Brady Ave., Newton, NC 28658.
