He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harrell Hartsoe and Patricia Cline Hartsoe of Newton; his wife Karla Warlick Hartsoe; his sisters, Kathryn Suzanne Turner (Deana) of Wilmington, DE and Jackie Johnstone of Granite Falls; his niece Emma Rose (Mads); and his nephews, Eli Johnstone, Michael Turner (Lisa) and Christopher Turner (Kellie).
