He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Mary Walker Bryant; and his sisters, Dorothy Brown of Bluefield, WVA and Joyce Gomes of Roxbury, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Patterson Bryant; his children, Sylvia Bryant of Boston, MA, Carl A. Bryant (Suwaina) of Hickory, NC, Shelia Wells (Bradley), Charles Bryant (Christie Robinson), Darnell Bryant of Hickory, NC, Janet Bryant of Bluefield, WVA and Curtis Bryant of Bluefield, WVA; and his niece Glory Cary (Jackson Cary) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grands and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Newton in Carl's name.
